Dr. Dana Matlock
Dr. Dana Matlock might be initially from Southern California, but she considers the greater Austin area her true home. She moved to Goliad, Texas at a young age and attended middle and high school there. She attended the University of Texas at Austin for undergrad and UTHSC-San Antonio for Dental School. After dental school, she moved to Oregon and practiced dentistry there. She was thrilled to recently move home to Texas.
Dr. Matlock is a member of American Dental Association, was previously a member of Oregon Dental Society and Lane County Dental Society, and looks forward to joining Texas Dental Society and the local dental organization. In Oregon, she volunteered with Caring Hands and Mouth, a non-profit organization which offers at-risk communities with free, quality dentistry services. She also worked with a local organization to offer dentistry services to military veterans and active military personnel.
Dr. Matlock enjoys treating kids; she also likes crown and bridge work. She is an experienced dentist who learns new professional treatments and procedures to better serve her patients. She’s excited to be able to provide Botox treatment for TMJ in the coming months. Her patients describe her as caring, efficient, and professional. When you have a dentist that is passionate about happy and healthy smiles, that translates into every appointment!
Dr. Matlock and her husband of a decade have a daughter. In her personal time, she enjoys hiking, running, and spending time with family and friends.They also have two dogs, a Sheltie mix and a yellow Lab. She and her husband love seeking out new restaurants and trying new foods in the culinary world. She looks forward to meeting patients in Georgetown!
