Dr. Preston Hansen


Dr. Preston Hansen attended Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine In Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he graduated in 2017. Dr. Hansen began college as a film major and then decided that the best way to nurture his creativity while pursuing his love for helping people would be through dentistry. He has been practicing for 2 years and recently relocated to Texas from Connecticut and joined the Renken Dentistry Team. Dr. Hansen enjoys running, training for races, trying new foods, and traveling with his fiancé.

Dr. Hansen is continually striving to provide the best care for his patients by attending several continuing education courses throughout the year. Currently, Dr. Hansen is mastering implant placement by taking a year-long implant Master Course through the Advanced Dental Implant Research and Education Center (AIC). Furthermore, he is taking courses with the Clinical Mastery Series to develop his skills in rehabilitating his patients’ bite and esthetics.

Dr. Hansen also attends yearly conferences with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists & Academy of General Dentistry to provide the best care for his patients.

Dr. Hansen is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, the Capital Area Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Being passionate about continuing education and providing the best care for his patients, Dr Hansen is currently working on his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. The Fellowship is an optional achievement that requires a dentist to complete over 500 hours of continuing education and pass a fellowship examination.

In addition, Dr. Hansen has been trained in the latest Invisalign treatment options and looks forward to creating beautiful, healthy smiles.
